“When I look back at my 25 years of being a mortgage broker and business owner, I realize this is not about me and what I have done. This moment is about all the great friends in this industry that have been part of my life,” said Jared Dreyer as he accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award during the 2017 CMA Gala.
Jared Dreyer has been a mortgage broker for 25 years. In his current role as VERICO’s Vice President of Corporate Relations, Jared is committed to supporting the success of VERICO mortgage brokers and is a vocal advocate for the industry.
“This is a very humbling experience and honor to accept this award. This does not mean, of course, that I am now finished in this industry or retiring anytime soon,” he laughs.
“The mortgage industry has been a blessing to me. Over the last dozen years or so, I have volunteered to hopefully make the industry even better for all of us. If I had not volunteered, I would not be able to call my mentors also my friends.”
Jared is a staunch believer in giving back to the industry and has volunteered over the past decade as a director of our provincial and national associations. Jared has served as MBABC President and was Chair of Mortgage Professionals Canada for the 2015/ 2016 year.
Prior to joining VERICO Canada, Jared started Dreyer Group Mortgages, a proud member of the VERICO Network since inception on Aug 1, 2005.
