Barbara joins VERICO as Eastern Business Development Manager
Barbara Cook joins VERICO Canada as the Eastern Business Development Manager to implement and maintain a strategic plan to advance sales growth for the VERICO Network. Barbara will be primarily servicing Ontario as she settles in her role at VERICO.
She comes from her previous role as Director of Sales & Operations at The Lion’s Share Group, with which she had been since their official launch in 2011. There, she was also the lead on the bi-annual Mortgage Broker Boot Camp – which grew from a Strategic Growth Planning and Development Day for brokers to a highly sought-after industry event, of interest to all in the mortgage business.
She strives in cultivating relationships with the broker community, as well as with strategic partners.
She has been working in the financial services industry for almost 15 years, in a variety of roles.
Her experience in the mortgage industry has given her a well balanced approach on the broker, service provider and lender sides of the business.
In her new role, Barbara will be supporting the growth of the VERICO Network in Ontario. She will be working closely with Martin Marshall who will continue to support VERICO in his crucial role.
